Belgium Cycles is not technically a sponsor but rather someone who has my best interest of staying safe and on the road is worth so much to me. I met Etienne from a mutual friend at Bike-n-Hike in Longmont some years ago when I needed some racing wheels for the trike and I gotta tell ya the dude knows his stuff. It is hard at times to explain what the trike is doing to someone who is uninitiated to how a trike works and reacts to something as simple as cornering. Etienne took the time to understand and has actually become a great friend and training partner when time allows. Etienne sells carbon and aluminum wheels that us mortals can afford. And when you're buying 3 at a time...it really helps. As far as durability goes, you may be wondering...the 50mm carbon clinchers I have and run quite frequently have held up so good that I have a set of 90mm carbon tubulars from Etienne as well. If you ride like a complete tool you will destroy these and any other carbon wheel on the market. Use them for what they are designed for and you'll be fine.
